 Narendra Modi has made significant contributions to organic farming  from 2014 onwards.

Some of his key initiatives include ¹
- Launching the Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY) in 2015 to promote traditional and organic farming methods.
- Encouraging the adoption of organic farming practices through various schemes and initiatives.
- Promoting millets as sustainable crops, with 2023 declared as the International Year of Millets.
- Supporting organic exports and strengthening certification processes.
- Allocating a substantial budget for organic farming in the 2025 budget.

These efforts aim to improve soil health, reduce chemical fertilizer usage, provide good health to all and promote sustainable agriculture practices
